Installation protocol:
Apply 2-3 wraps of PTFE tape clockwise on male threads. Torque to 1.2-1.5N·m using
crowfoot wrench. Avoid aligning stress vectors with elbow angle. Perform pressure
test at 1.5× system pressure for 15 minutes post-installation.
Compatibility note:
Not suitable for steam or hydrocarbon fluids. For oxygen systems,
specify X-EPLF803-O2 variant with degreased assembly and FK-20 sealant.
