The AirTAC Airtac 3V1 Solenoid Valve 3V106AI7F is a genuine 3-port 2-position (3/2) solenoid valve with 1/8 in ports. It either feeds its outlet or vents it to exhaust, which is what makes it the valve for single-acting cylinders, on/off air blow, clamping, vacuum switching and pilot duty.
The 3V106AI7F is a factory-built bank of seven 3V1 valves on one common base, sharing a single PT1/8 supply. Each station is a 3/2 direct-acting unit with one AC220V solenoid and a spring return: energise to feed the outlet, de-energise and the spring vents it. That feed-or-vent action is what drives single-acting cylinders, clamps, blow-off nozzles and pilot lines.
Every coil draws 4.5 VA and carries IP65 (DIN 40050) protection, and a manual override on each station lets you jog the circuit during commissioning. The I entry supplies pre-wired flying leads instead of DIN sockets, so the whole seven-way bank wires straight to your terminal strip. Genuine AirTAC product, quoted by our team on request.

Figures follow the official AirTAC 3V1 catalogue. Confirm coil voltage and thread (PT / NPT / G) against the product label before wiring.
| 3V1 | Body — sets the flow, the coil power and whether vacuum is rated. |
|---|---|
| 1/8 in | Port size. M5, 06 = 1/8 in, 08 = 1/4 in, 10 = 3/8 in. |
| AC220V | Coil voltage. A = AC220V, B = DC24V, C = AC110V, E = AC24V, F = DC12V. |
| I | Electrical entry: I = flying lead, otherwise a DIN plug. |
| 7F | 7 stations in one assembly. |
| PT | Port thread. PT ships from stock; G and NPT are available to order. |
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
Seven blow-off nozzles on a rotary bottle filler can each get its own 3/2 valve from this bank, sharing one PT1/8 supply and one manifold footprint.
Clamp points around an automotive weld jig switch individually while the AC220V coils draw only 4.5 VA each, easy for a standard control cabinet.
Use one station to send an intermittent pilot signal to a larger diaphragm process valve without running main-line air through the whole cycle.
Seven 3V1 bodies on one manifold is compact, but the 3V1 is the smallest valve in the range and AirTAC publishes no Cv for it. If any of the seven circuits needs more flow, step up to 3V2 (1/8in and 1/4in, NC or NO selectable, Cv 0.18-0.19, vacuum rated) or 3V3 (1/4in, Cv 0.62). When panel density matters more than flow, compare with the 3V2M manifold body.
Confirm five points before ordering: port (M5 or 1/8in), thread (PT is standard on this family; G and NPT are catalogue options to order), coil voltage, electrical entry (this SKU is flying lead; order the 3V106A7F code for DIN-plug coils) and the station count you need, from 1F to 20F. For a double-acting cylinder, use the AirTAC 4V series instead.
Confirm before you order
Each valve handles 0-0.8 MPa (0-114 psi) at -20 to 70 C with air filtered to 40 um or finer. The AC220V coil draws 4.5 VA and is protected to IP65 (DIN 40050). AirTAC publishes no Cv or effective-area figure for the 3V1 body, so confirm flow needs with us. The bank is built as a 7-station assembly within the 1F-20F manifold range.
The I code replaces the usual DIN plug socket with pre-wired lead-out wires on every coil, so wiring runs straight from the terminal strip without buying or fitting separate plugs. It does not change valve function: each station stays a direct-acting 3/2 with spring return, and the manual override still lets you test each station by hand.
