The AirTAC Airtac 3V1 Solenoid Valve 3V106B6F is a genuine 3-port 2-position (3/2) solenoid valve with 1/8 in ports. It either feeds its outlet or vents it to exhaust, which is what makes it the valve for single-acting cylinders, on/off air blow, clamping, vacuum switching and pilot duty.
The AirTAC 3V106B6F packs six 3/2 solenoid valves onto a single manifold base, each with a 1/8 PT port. Every valve is direct-acting with a single solenoid and spring return: energise to feed the outlet, de-energise and the spring vents it. Each valve is supplied in a single fixed initial state - confirm it on the datasheet. One shared base replaces six individually plumbed valves and saves real panel space.
Six DC24V coils at 3.0 W each total 18 W across the bank - a load a small 24 V supply handles easily. Connections are DIN plug sockets sealed to IP65 (DIN 40050), and every valve carries a manual override for commissioning.

Figures follow the official AirTAC 3V1 catalogue. Confirm coil voltage and thread (PT / NPT / G) against the product label before wiring.
| 3V1 | Body — sets the flow, the coil power and whether vacuum is rated. |
|---|---|
| 1/8 in | Port size. M5, 06 = 1/8 in, 08 = 1/4 in, 10 = 3/8 in. |
| DC24V | Coil voltage. A = AC220V, B = DC24V, C = AC110V, E = AC24V, F = DC12V. |
| — | Electrical entry: I = flying lead, otherwise a DIN plug. |
| 6F | 6 stations in one assembly. |
| PT | Port thread. PT ships from stock; G and NPT are available to order. |
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
Six stations trigger short air pulses that eject small housings from an injection mould, one valve per cavity group on a shared 1/8 base.
Spring-return single-acting cylinders that swing bus doors open are fed and vented by individual stations of the manifold, one door function per valve.
A compact electrical panel drives six clamp and blow functions on a food-tray forming machine from one 24 V rail and one pneumatic base.
3V1 is the entry body of the AirTAC 3V range and carries no published Cv, so verify flow expectations with us before committing to flow-sensitive tasks. Larger duties: 3V2 offers 1/8 and 1/4 ports with NC/NO selectability, Cv 0.18-0.19 and a vacuum rating; 3V3 gives 1/4 with Cv 0.62. Where manifold density outranks flow, 3V2M is the dedicated alternative. A double-acting cylinder calls for the 5-port AirTAC 4V family instead. Lock down five choices when ordering: M5 or 1/8 port, PT standard thread (G and NPT orderable), coil voltage, DIN plug or flying lead, and the valve count on the manifold.

Pressure 0-0.8 MPa (0-114 psi); temperature -20 to 70 C; IP65 (DIN 40050) on the DIN plug connection. DC24V coils draw 3.0 W each; across the 3V1 family AC220V and AC110V are 4.5 VA, AC24V is 5.0 VA and DC12V is 2.5 W. The medium is air filtered to 40 um or finer, with no lubrication required. No Cv or effective area is published for 3V1 - request confirmation from us for flow-critical use.
The 3V1 family integrates from 1 to 20 stations in series, so a six-valve base can be matched to the exact number of functions your machine has. Accessories support the install: the 3V1-P30 connecting-screw base set, 3V1-P31 O-ring and long screws, and 3V1-P32 mounting-bracket set. Each station still only feeds or vents a single line - single-acting work, with the AirTAC 4V series needed for double-acting cylinders.
