Sixteen independently switched 3/2 valves on one shared base - that is the 3V1M5B16F. Direct-acting, single-solenoid and spring-return, each valve either pressurizes its outlet line or dumps it to exhaust: the right action for spring-return actuators, purge jets and pilot signals. Its M5 ports keep tubing runs and fittings as small as possible.
At DC24V each coil takes 3.0 W, so a fully energized block of sixteen draws roughly 48 W. The IP65 (DIN 40050) enclosure rating protects the coils in dusty or damp corners, and a manual override on every valve speeds up commissioning.

What a 3/2 Valve Does
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
