About the AirTAC 4V110-06 Solenoid Valve, 4V100 Series (4V11006FI-AM)
The AirTAC 4V11006FI-AM is the smallest body in the 4V range: a 5/2-way single-solenoid valve that switches a double-acting cylinder between extend and retract, then springs back to its rest position the moment the coil is de-energised, so your control signal must stay on for as long as the working stroke is needed. With an effective area of 10.2 mm2 (Cv 0.6) and a 5 cycle/s ceiling, it is sized for compact double-acting actuators in roughly the 16-32 mm bore class.
This -AM build arrives with an AMISCO (Italian) solenoid coil factory-fitted in place of the standard AirTAC coil; the spool, 1/8in PT ports and flow figures are identical, but our datasheet covers only the standard coil, so please confirm the exact AMISCO rating with us before sizing your DC12V power supply. Wiring is via a grommet entry with a 0.5 m pre-wired lead, switching response is 0.05 s or better, and the aluminium body weighs just 120 g - a neat package where panel space and install time both matter.

Size the valve so effective area / Cv is not the bottleneck for your cylinder bore and speed. Undersized valves slow the actuator. Note 5/3 (center) versions have a smaller effective area than the 5/2 of the same body size.

Keep the 4V100 body for small bores and moderate cycle rates; step up to the 4V200 (Cv 1.0) when a larger cylinder or faster travel demands it. Pick this single-solenoid 5/2 if a dropped signal should always park the cylinder at rest; choose a double-solenoid 4V120 when position should persist through a power loss, or a 4V130 5/3 (its Cv 0.51 and 3 cycle/s limit make it slower) when you need an intermediate port state. One valve can also sit on a manifold base to grow into a multi-station group. For reorders or swaps, lock in five points: 4V100 body, function 10, 1/8in PT thread, DC12V coil and grommet entry - and if your process depends on the AMISCO coil, make sure that option carries over and that its rating has been confirmed.
