The 4V430E15B-AM is a 5/3-way double-solenoid valve with an exhaust center: at neutral, both cylinder ports A and B dump straight to exhaust, so a double-acting cylinder is left unpressurised and can be drifted by hand, by gravity or by the load. Pulse either coil and the spool shifts to power one side while venting the other; the 1/2-inch PT ports and Cv 2.35 (40.0 mm2 effective area) suit double-acting cylinders of roughly O80 to 125 mm bore.
