About the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP20X35B
The ACP20X35B is a double acting compact cylinder in the DIN-standard ACP family, with a 20 mm bore, 35 mm stroke and a male rod thread from the B code. It pushes 157.1 N and pulls 117.8 N at 0.5 MPa, rising to 219.9 N at 0.7 MPa, and its short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it fits tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body will not. Air supply is 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi), speed 30-500 mm/s, with a fixed TPU bumper at each end.
This model is discontinued; the current-production drop-in is ACE20X35, which matches the same bore, stroke and force class - confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping. Because no S code was ordered, there is no magnet fitted, so CMSE or DMSE switches cannot be used; order the -S variant if position sensing is needed. For sizing, plan on roughly 94 N (about 9.6 kg) of real work at 0.5 MPa, or a vertical lift of about 8 kg with a 2:1 margin.
