About the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP25X10S
A double acting compact cylinder built to the DIN-standard short-body format, the ACP25X10S pairs a 25 mm bore with a 10 mm stroke and carries the optional -S magnet, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be mounted for end-of-stroke detection. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 245.4 N and pulls 206.2 N, and its hard-anodized aluminium body with an S45C hard-chrome rod runs on 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) air filtered to 40 um at 30-500 mm/s. Fixed TPU bumpers sit at both ends of the travel.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why this size fits tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body cannot. For real-world sizing, plan on about 147 N of usable push at 0.5 MPa (roughly 60% of the rating), which lifts about 15 kg vertically - or about 7 kg with a 2:1 margin. Note this model is discontinued: the current-production drop-in is ACE25X10, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.
