About the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP25X45
The ACP25X45 is a double acting DIN-standard compact cylinder with a 25 mm bore and 45 mm stroke. Air drives the rod in both directions, and a fixed TPU bumper at each end absorbs end-of-travel shock. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 245.4 N and pulls 206.2 N; at 0.7 MPa those rise to 343.6 N and 288.6 N, with a theoretical maximum of 50.1 kgf at 1.0 MPa. Its short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body will not fit.
For sizing in practice, plan on about 147 N of usable push at 0.5 MPa (roughly 60% of the rated force), which corresponds to lifting about 12 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. The hard-anodized aluminium body carries an S45C hard-chrome rod, the rod end is female M6x1.0, and the air port is M5x0.8. Note this model is discontinued: the current-production replacement is the ACE25X45, a drop-in successor in the same bore, stroke and force class - confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping. The optional -S magnet enables CMSE / DMSE switches; without it no magnet is fitted.

A plain unit drifts when air is removed, so add a rod lock or pilot check valve if the load must stay put. Buy the ACE25X45 instead: this ACP model is discontinued.
