About the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP25X55S
The ACP25X55S is a double acting DIN-standard compact cylinder with a 25 mm bore and 55 mm stroke, delivering 245.4 N push and 206.2 N pull at 0.5 MPa (343.6 N / 288.6 N at 0.7 MPa). Its hard-anodized aluminium body is about 50% shorter than an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body cannot fit. The S in the code means the optional -S magnet is fitted, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be mounted for end-of-stroke signalling.
At the rod end you get a female M6x1.0 thread on a 10 mm hard-chrome S45C rod, with a fixed TPU bumper at each end and speeds of 30-500 mm/s. Plan on roughly 147 N (about 15 kg) of usable push at 0.5 MPa, which vertically lifts about 12 kg with a 2:1 margin. Note this model is discontinued: the current-production drop-in is the ACE25X55, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.

If 245.4 N of push at 0.5 MPa is more than your jig needs, the 20 mm bore gives 157.1 N in the same short body; if you need headroom, the 32 mm bore reaches 402.1 N. The 55 mm stroke sits well inside the 150 mm standard limit for bore 25, so no made-to-order stroke is required. Remember a plain cylinder drifts when air is lost - add a rod lock or pilot check valve if the load must stay put. FA/FB flange, LB foot and CA/CB clevis mounts bolt straight to the ISO 21287 face.
