About the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP32X120S
A double acting compact cylinder built to the DIN-standard short-body format, the ACP32X120S pairs a 32 mm bore with a 120 mm stroke and ships with the optional -S magnet already fitted, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be mounted for end-of-stroke sensing. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 402.1 N and pulls 345.6 N; at 0.7 MPa those figures rise to 563 N and 483.8 N, with a theoretical peak of 82 kgf at 1.0 MPa. Air supply is 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) and rod speed runs 30-500 mm/s.
The hard-anodized aluminium body with an S45C hard-chrome rod saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why this bore and stroke class fits so well inside tight machine guards and sliding gantries. For sizing, treat about 240 N (0.6 of the push force) as the realistic working output at 0.5 MPa - in vertical terms that is around 24 kg of raw lift, or roughly 12 kg once you keep a 2:1 margin.
