The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ12X100-30 is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø12mm bore and 100mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ12X100-30 (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
The ACPJ12X100-30 is a double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke: the -30 code gives a 30 mm stop-screw window, so the 100 mm stroke can be trimmed anywhere in a 70-100 mm range on site. Air works on both sides of the 12 mm piston, delivering 56.5 N push and 42.4 N pull at 0.5 MPa (79.2 N / 59.4 N at 0.7 MPa), with a theoretical peak of 11.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. As a rule of thumb, plan on roughly 33.9 N of real work at 0.5 MPa, which is about 2.9 kg of vertical lift with a 2:1 margin. Note the 100 mm stroke exceeds the 50 mm maximum standard stroke for bore 12, so this unit is made to order.
This model is discontinued; the current-production replacement is the ACEJ12X100, which swaps the P for an E and matches the same bore, stroke and force class in the ISO 21287 family - confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping, since the ACP is DIN-standard. The short hard-anodized aluminium body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, and a fixed TPU bumper sits at both ends. No magnet is fitted on this version (the optional -S code adds one for CMSE / DMSE switches), the rod end is female M3x0.5, the port is M5x0.8, and speed runs 30-500 mm/s at 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi).

The 70-100 mm trim range lets a fixture builder dial in the exact eject length for connector or PCB push-off stations, with 56.5 N at 0.5 MPa enough for light plastic parts.
Order the -S version when a CMSE or DMSE switch must confirm end positions inside a tight test head; this standard build has no magnet fitted.
With about 2.9 kg of practical vertical lift at 0.5 MPa, the 12 mm bore suits lowering a small weigh head or nozzle into a carton, trimmed by the 30 mm stop window.
Bore 12 is the smallest in this family, so if 56.5 N push at 0.5 MPa is marginal for your jig, step up to bore 16 (100.5 N push / 75.4 N pull at 0.5 MPa) rather than pushing this bore to its limit. The stop screw only shortens the extend stroke within the ordered 30 mm window and is a mechanical end stop, not a mid-stroke lock - the rod still drifts if air is lost, so add a separate clamp if you must hold position. FA/FB flange and LB foot mounts bolt to the ISO 21287 face. For new designs, order the ACEJ12X100 instead, as this ACPJ version is discontinued.
