The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ12X100-75 is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø12mm bore and 100mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ12X100-75 (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
This discontinued AirTAC model is a double acting, adjustable-stroke compact cylinder: a 12 mm bore driving a 6 mm rod through a 100 mm stroke, with a stop screw that trims the extend stroke anywhere inside the 75 mm window, giving a usable range of 25-100 mm. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 56.5 N and pulls 42.4 N; at 0.7 MPa those rise to 79.2 N and 59.4 N, with a theoretical ceiling of 11.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The 100 mm stroke exceeds the 50 mm standard maximum for this bore, so it is a made-to-order build. The short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it slots into slim fixtures and guarding where a full-length body cannot.
Practical sizing: plan on about 34 N (roughly 0.6 of the 56.5 N push) of real work at 0.5 MPa, which corresponds to lifting about 3 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. The hard-anodized aluminium body carries an S45C hard-chrome rod, fixed TPU bumpers at both ends, and an M5x0.8 port; speed runs 30-500 mm/s across 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi). No magnet is fitted on this code, so no CMSE or DMSE switch can be mounted unless you order the optional -S version. Since the ACPJ line is discontinued, the current-production drop-in is the ACEJ12X100 - confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping, because the ACP is DIN-standard.

Pushing small pins into PCB connectors suits the 79.2 N available at 0.7 MPa; the 75 mm window covers different board heights, and the fixed TPU bumpers quiet the return at 30-500 mm/s.
At 12 mm bore this is the smallest force class in the family: 56.5 N push at 0.5 MPa. If your load needs more, step up to the 16 mm bore (100.5 N push at 0.5 MPa) or the 20 mm bore (157.1 N). If 56.5 N is generous for the job, there is no smaller ACPJ bore, so consider a lighter mechanism or lower pressure. Remember the stop screw only shortens the extend stroke and is not a mid-stroke lock - on air loss the piston still drifts, so do not rely on it to hold a load. Mounting is FA/FB flange or LB foot on the standard face; the rod end here is a female M3x0.5 thread with PT ports. For new designs, order the ACEJ12X100 instead, as this model is discontinued.
