The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ12X110-100S is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø12mm bore and 110mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ12X110-100S (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
This compact AirTAC cylinder is double acting, with air extending and retracting the rod, and carries a 100 mm adjustment window: a stop screw trims the 110 mm extend stroke anywhere down to 10 mm on site. The 12 mm bore delivers 56.5 N push and 42.4 N pull at 0.5 MPa, rising to 79.2 N push at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical peak of 11.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. Its short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into cramped fixtures and guarding where a full-length body cannot.
The 110 mm stroke exceeds the 50 mm standard maximum for this bore, so it is a made-to-order build. Plan on about 34 N of real work at 0.5 MPa (roughly 60% of the rated push), which corresponds to lifting about 3 kg vertically with a sensible margin. The -S code on this model means the magnet is fitted, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be mounted directly. Note this ACPJ series is discontinued; the current-production drop-in is the ACEJ12X110, and buyers should confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping since the ACP follows a DIN-standard footprint.

Replacement mapping (swap P for E): ACP→ACE, ASP→ASE, ATP→ATE, ACPD→ACED, ACPJ→ACEJ. ACP-family: ACP (double acting), ASP / ATP (single acting push / pull), ACPD (double rod), ACPJ (adjustable stroke).
The 56.5 N push at 0.5 MPa is enough to strip small stamped terminals or connector pins off a die, and the trimmable 10-110 mm range lets one unit serve several die heights.
With the fitted magnet and a CMSE or DMSE switch, the 110 mm travel can signal home and end positions on an electronics inspection fixture running at 30-500 mm/s.
The short body, about 50% shorter than an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, fits inside compact analytical or sample-handling enclosures where the 42.4 N pull is ample for tray indexing.
At 12 mm bore this is the smallest force class in the family: 56.5 N push at 0.5 MPa versus 100.5 N for a 16 mm bore and 157.1 N for a 20 mm bore, so step up if your part weight or clamp force approaches the upper end. The 100 mm window lets one cylinder serve several stroke positions from 10 to 110 mm, but remember the stop screw only shortens the extend stroke and does not hold a load if air is lost. The female M3x0.5 rod thread accepts I/Y knuckles, and FA flange or LB foot mounts bolt to the face. If you need position feedback, this -S version already carries the magnet for CMSE / DMSE switches. For new projects order the ACEJ12X110 instead, as this model is discontinued.

This ACPJ series is discontinued; the current-production drop-in is the ACEJ12X110 in the same bore, stroke and force class, and you should confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping because the ACP is DIN-standard.
