The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ12X110-75B is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø12mm bore and 110mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ12X110-75B (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
This is a double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke: a stop screw trims the 110 mm stroke by up to 75 mm on site, giving a usable range of 35-110 mm. The 12 mm bore delivers 56.5 N push and 42.4 N pull at 0.5 MPa (79.2 N / 59.4 N at 0.7 MPa), with a theoretical maximum of 11.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. Note that the 110 mm stroke exceeds the 50 mm maximum standard stroke for this bore, so it is a non-standard, made-to-order unit.
The hard-anodized aluminium body with S45C hard-chrome rod keeps the mounting length about 50% shorter than an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and gantries. In practice, plan on roughly 34 N of real work at 0.5 MPa (about 0.6 of the push rating), which lifts about 2.9 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. This model is discontinued; the current-production drop-in is the ACEJ12X110 in the same bore, stroke and force class - confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping, since the ACP is DIN-standard.

The 35-110 mm adjustable range lets a technician trim the push stroke so a finished board clears the nest without overshooting the probe block, using the 56.5 N push at 0.5 MPa.
The short body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so the cylinder fits between guard plates where a full-length body would not.
About 2.9 kg of vertical lift capacity at a 2:1 margin is enough to advance small vial trays, and the 30-500 mm/s speed band matches gentle handling.
At 12 mm bore you get 56.5 N push at 0.5 MPa; step up to the 16 mm bore for 100.5 N or down to the smallest size if the 42.4 N pull at 0.5 MPa already covers your return load. The 75 mm window suits fixtures where the stroke must be trimmed after installation - remember the stop is a mechanical end stop, not a mid-stroke lock, so the piston still drifts on air loss. The B code gives a male rod thread; the optional -S magnet enables CMSE / DMSE switches, but without it no sensor can be fitted. For new builds, order the ACEJ12X110 instead.

Only if you order the optional -S magnet code; this model has no magnet, so CMSE / DMSE reed or solid-state switches cannot be mounted without it. The ACPJ family is discontinued - the current-production replacement is the ACEJ12X110, a drop-in successor in the same bore, stroke and force class. Confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping, because the ACP follows the DIN-standard compact format.
