About the Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ12X125-50B
This is a double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke: air drives the piston both ways, and an external stop screw trims the 125 mm stroke by up to 50 mm, giving a usable range of 75-125 mm. The 12 mm bore delivers 56.5 N push and 42.4 N pull at 0.5 MPa, rising to 79.2 N push at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical peak of 11.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The 125 mm stroke is longer than the 50 mm standard maximum for this bore, so it is a made-to-order build.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it suits tight jigs and guarded assemblies. A hard-anodized aluminium body carries an S45C hard-chrome rod, with fixed TPU bumpers at both ends. Note that no magnet is fitted on this version (no -S code), so no position switch can be mounted; order the -S variant if CMSE / DMSE sensing is needed. This model is discontinued: ACEJ12X125 is the current-production replacement in the same bore, stroke and force class.
