The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ12X160-10SB is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø12mm bore and 160mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ12X160-10SB (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
This is a double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable stroke: air drives the rod out and pulls it back, and a stop screw trims the extend stroke anywhere in a 10 mm window, so the usable range is 150-160 mm. The 12 mm bore delivers 56.5 N push and 42.4 N pull at 0.5 MPa, rising to 79.2 N push at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical peak of 11.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The 160 mm stroke is longer than the 50 mm standard maximum for this bore, so it is a made-to-order build. Note that this model is discontinued; the current-production replacement is the ACEJ12X160, and buyers should confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping because the ACP series was built to a DIN standard.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it suits narrow fixtures and sliding guards. Because the S code is on this unit, the magnet is fitted and CMSE or DMSE reed or solid-state switches can be clamped straight onto the body for end-of-stroke signalling. The B code gives a male rod thread, and a fixed TPU bumper sits at each end. If your part sits under 3 kg and 56.5 N covers it, this 12 mm unit keeps the envelope smallest. Remember the stop screw only shortens the extend stroke; it is a mechanical end stop, not a mid-stroke lock, so the piston will still drift if air is lost. Mounting options are FA/FB flange or LB foot, and the male rod thread suits knuckle brackets. For new designs, order the ACEJ12X160 instead, since this ACPJ version is discontinued.

This ACPJ is discontinued: the current drop-in is the ACEJ12X160, same bore, stroke and force class, but confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping since the ACP was DIN-standard.
