The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ12X175-30S is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø12mm bore and 175mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ12X175-30S (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
This is a double acting, adjustable-stroke compact cylinder in the discontinued AirTAC ACPJ series. The 12 mm bore delivers 56.5 N push and 42.4 N pull at 0.5 MPa (rising to 79.2 N push at 0.7 MPa), and the -30 code gives a 30 mm adjustment window: a stop screw trims the extend stroke anywhere within 145-175 mm on site. The 175 mm stroke is non-standard for this bore (max standard is 50 mm), so it is made to order. The hard-anodized aluminium body with an S45C hard-chrome rod keeps the mounting length roughly 50% shorter than an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body cannot.
The -S code on this model means the optional magnet is fitted, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be clamped straight onto the body for end-of-stroke sensing. A fixed TPU bumper sits at both ends to soften approach. In practice, plan on about 33.9 N of usable push at 0.5 MPa (roughly 0.6 of the rating), which lifts about 2.9 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. Note that ACPJ is discontinued: the current-production drop-in is ACEJ12X175, same bore, stroke and force class - confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping, since ACP is DIN-standard.

Size both ways before ordering: the 16 mm bore gives 100.5 N push at 0.5 MPa if your load creeps past what this 12 mm unit can move, while stepping down is not possible since 12 mm is the smallest bore in the family. The stop screw is a mechanical end stop for the extend stroke only - it shortens travel, it is not a mid-stroke lock, and the piston still drifts if air is lost. Match FA/FB flange or LB foot mounts and I/Y rod knuckles to your fixture, and remember the female M3x0.5 rod thread on this model. For new designs, order ACEJ12X175 instead, as ACPJ is discontinued.
