About the Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ12X200-10S
This is a double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke: the -10 code gives a 10 mm window, so a stop screw trims the 200 mm stroke down to 190 mm on site. Bore 12 mm delivers 56.5 N push and 42.4 N pull at 0.5 MPa (79.2 N push at 0.7 MPa), with a theoretical peak of 11.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. As a rule of thumb, plan on roughly 34 N of real work at 0.5 MPa, which lifts about 2.9 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. The 200 mm stroke exceeds the 50 mm standard maximum for bore 12, so it is a made-to-order stroke.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it suits narrow slides and slim guarding. A fixed TPU bumper sits at both ends, and the -S magnet this model carries lets CMSE or DMSE switches report end positions. Note that this ACPJ model is discontinued; the current-production replacement is ACEJ12X200, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping, since the ACP is DIN-standard.
