The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ12X200-30B is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø12mm bore and 200mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ12X200-30B (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
A double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke, the ACPJ12X200-30B runs a 12 mm bore over a 200 mm stroke and trims up to 30 mm of that stroke on site with an external stop screw, giving a usable range of 170-200 mm. Air at 0.5 MPa delivers 56.5 N of push and 42.4 N of pull, and the fixed TPU bumper at each end decelerates the piston. Note that the 200 mm stroke is longer than the 50 mm maximum standard stroke for bore 12, so this is a made-to-order build.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which suits slim pick-and-place arms and compact test rigs. In practice, plan on about 34 N of usable work at 0.5 MPa, which lifts roughly 2.9 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. The hard-anodized aluminium body carries an S45C hard-chrome rod, and the B code gives a male rod thread. This model is discontinued; the current-production replacement is the ACEJ12X200, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.

Replacement mapping (swap P for E): ACP→ACE, ASP→ASE, ATP→ATE, ACPD→ACED, ACPJ→ACEJ. ACP-family: ACP (double acting), ASP / ATP (single acting push / pull), ACPD (double rod), ACPJ (adjustable stroke).
The 56.5 N push at 0.5 MPa is enough to press small sensor caps or apply light test loads, and the 170-200 mm adjustable range fits a bench-top fixture with limited depth.
A slim 12 mm bore body about 50% shorter than an ISO 15552 profile cylinder slides into tight ejection pockets, pushing watch parts or connector housings off a nest at 30-500 mm/s.
With a usable vertical capacity of roughly 2.9 kg, the rod raises small PCB trays or vials between two levels, with the male rod thread taking an I-type knuckle directly.
At 12 mm bore this is the smallest force class in the family: 56.5 N push at 0.5 MPa versus 100.5 N for the 16 mm bore and 157.1 N for the 20 mm bore, so step up if your load exceeds about 34 N of real work. The 30 mm window only shortens the extend stroke from 200 mm down to 170 mm; it cannot lengthen it, and it is a mechanical end stop, not a mid-stroke lock, so the rod still drifts on air loss. Mounting uses FA/FB flange or LB foot on the ISO 21287 face, and the male rod thread (B code) suits knuckle brackets. No magnet is fitted on this version; order the -S code if you later need CMSE or DMSE switches. For new designs, specify the ACEJ12X200 instead, as this ACPJ is discontinued.
