The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ12X200-50B is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø12mm bore and 200mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ12X200-50B (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
This is a double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke: a stop screw trims the 200 mm stroke by up to 50 mm, giving a usable range of 150-200 mm. The 12 mm bore delivers 56.5 N push and 42.4 N pull at 0.5 MPa, rising to 79.2 N push at 0.7 MPa. The 200 mm stroke is longer than the 50 mm standard maximum for this bore, so it is a made-to-order build. Note this model is discontinued; the current-production replacement is the ACEJ12X200, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it suits slim fixtures and guarded assemblies. A practical sizing rule: at 0.5 MPa plan on roughly 34 N of real work (about 60% of the rated push), which is around 3 kg of vertical lift with a 2:1 margin. The hard-anodized aluminium body carries an S45C hard-chrome rod, a fixed TPU bumper sits at both ends, and the male rod thread (B code) bolts to I/Y knuckles. No magnet is fitted on this version; order the -S code if you need CMSE / DMSE switch sensing.

At 12 mm bore you get 56.5 N push at 0.5 MPa; step down is not available in this family, while the 16 mm bore gives 100.5 N and the 20 mm bore 157.1 N if your load needs more force. Choose the male-thread rod (B) for external knuckles, and match FA flange or LB foot brackets to the ISO 21287 face. Remember the stop screw only trims the extend stroke within the 50 mm window and does not hold a load on air loss. For new projects, specify the ACEJ12X200 instead.

The -50 code sets a 50 mm adjustment window: an external stop screw shortens the extend stroke anywhere between 150 and 200 mm, but it cannot lengthen the stroke past the ordered 200 mm and it does not lock the piston if air is lost. This ACPJ model is discontinued; the current-production drop-in is the ACEJ12X200 in the same bore, stroke and force class. Confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping, since the ACP follows a DIN-standard footprint.
