Double acting and adjustable, the ACPJ12X25-20S is a discontinued DIN-standard compact cylinder with a 12 mm bore and a 25 mm stroke trimmed by a 20 mm stop window, so the extend stroke can be set anywhere from 5 to 25 mm on site. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 56.5 N and pulls 42.4 N; at 0.7 MPa that rises to 79.2 N push, with a theoretical ceiling of 11.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The hard-anodized aluminium body with an S45C hard-chrome rod keeps the mounting length about 50% shorter than an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body cannot.
Because the -S code is in this model, the magnet is fitted and CMSE / DMSE reed or solid-state switches can be mounted for end-of-stroke signalling. The stop screw is a mechanical end stop for the extend stroke only - it shortens travel, never lengthens it, and on air loss the piston still drifts, so it is not a load lock. In practice, plan on roughly 34 N (about 60% of the 56.5 N rating) of real work at 0.5 MPa, which lifts about 2.9 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin.
