The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ12X35-10 is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø12mm bore and 35mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ12X35-10 (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
A double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke, the ACPJ12X35-10 runs a 12 mm bore over a 35 mm nominal stroke and delivers 56.5 N of push and 42.4 N of pull at 0.5 MPa (rising to 79.2 N at 0.7 MPa). The -10 code sets a 10 mm adjustment window: an external stop screw trims the extend stroke anywhere between 25 and 35 mm on site, so one cylinder covers several fixture positions. Its hard-anodized aluminium body is an ISO 21287 short build that saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it slots into tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body cannot.
The fixed TPU bumper at each end decelerates the piston at the ends of travel only - it never locks or holds a load, and on air loss the piston still drifts, so do not treat the stop screw as a brake. Rod end is a female M3x0.5 thread, the air port is M5x0.8, and no magnet is fitted on this version: the optional -S code is what enables CMSE / DMSE switch sensing. This model is discontinued; the current-production replacement is ACEJ12X35, a drop-in in the same bore, stroke and force class - confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping. As a sizing rule, plan on roughly 34 N (about 0.6 of the push rating) of real work at 0.5 MPa, enough to lift about 2.9 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin.

The 35 mm stroke sits inside the 50 mm maximum standard stroke for this bore, so it is a catalog item, not a made-to-order length. Match FA/FB flange or LB foot hardware to the ISO 21287 face, and if you need position feedback, order the -S variant - without it there is no magnet and no switch can be fitted. For new designs, specify ACEJ12X35 instead, the current ISO 21287 successor.

The ACPJ family is discontinued - the current-production drop-in is ACEJ12X35 in the same bore, stroke and force class. Confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping, since the ACP was built to a DIN-standard footprint.
