About the Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ12X45-20
The ACPJ12X45-20 is a double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke: a stop screw trims the 45 mm stroke by up to 20 mm on site, giving a usable 25-45 mm range. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 56.5 N and pulls 42.4 N; at 0.7 MPa that rises to 79.2 N push. As a rule of thumb, plan on roughly 34 N (about 3 kg) of real work per move rather than the full rating.
Its ISO 21287 short body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body cannot. The hard-anodized aluminium body carries an S45C hard-chrome rod, fixed TPU bumpers sit at both ends, and speed runs 30-500 mm/s at 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi). Note this model is discontinued: the current-production drop-in is ACEJ12X45, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.
