About the Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ12X45-50S
This compact cylinder works double acting, with air extending and retracting the 6 mm rod, and its -50 stop screw lets you trim the 45 mm extend stroke anywhere in a 0-45 mm range on site. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 56.5 N and pulls 42.4 N, rising to 79.2 N push at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical peak of 11.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight fixtures a full-length body cannot reach.
Note this model is discontinued: the current-production drop-in is the ACEJ12X45, which matches the same bore, stroke and force class - confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping, since the ACPJ was built to a DIN-standard footprint. Because the -S magnet is fitted, CMSE / DMSE reed or solid-state switches can be clamped on for end-of-stroke sensing.
