The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ12X50-10B is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø12mm bore and 50mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ12X50-10B (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
This ACPJ12X50-10B is a double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke: a stop screw trims the 50 mm stroke by up to 10 mm, giving a usable range of 40-50 mm. Air pushes the piston both ways, so no spring is involved, and the bore 12 size delivers 56.5 N push and 42.4 N pull at 0.5 MPa (79.2 N / 59.4 N at 0.7 MPa). The short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it slots into slim jigs and guarded stations where a full-length body simply will not fit.
Note before ordering: the ACPJ family is discontinued, and the current-production drop-in is the ACEJ12X50 - same bore, stroke and force class - so confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping, since the ACP follows a DIN-standard footprint. This unit carries the B male rod thread and a PT port thread, and because no S code is ordered there is no magnet fitted, so CMSE / DMSE switches cannot be used on this version. For planning, treat about 0.6 of the 56.5 N push (roughly 34 N, or about 3.4 kgf) as the practical working force at 0.5 MPa rather than the full rating.

The 10 mm adjustment window only shortens the extend stroke - it is a mechanical end stop, not a mid-stroke lock, so on air loss the piston still drifts and cannot hold a load. Match FA/FB flange or LB foot hardware to your fixture, and remember the optional -S magnet is what enables CMSE / DMSE switch sensing. For new builds, order the ACEJ12X50 instead, as this model is discontinued.
