Double acting and adjustable in stroke, the ACPJ12X60-20S is a discontinued DIN-standard compact cylinder with a 12 mm bore and a 60 mm stroke trimmed by a 20 mm stop-screw window, so the extend stroke can be set anywhere from 40 to 60 mm on site. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 56.5 N and pulls 42.4 N; at 0.7 MPa that rises to 79.2 N push and 59.4 N pull, with a theoretical ceiling of 11.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The 60 mm stroke exceeds the 50 mm standard limit for bore 12, so it is a made-to-order build.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it suits slim jigs and guarded assemblies. Plan on about 34 N of real work at 0.5 MPa (roughly 60% of the rated push), which lifts about 3 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. The -S code on this model means the magnet is fitted, so CMSE / DMSE reed or solid-state switches can be mounted directly. This model is discontinued; the current drop-in is ACEJ12X60, and buyers should confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping since the ACP is DIN-standard.

At 56.5 N push (0.5 MPa) this 12 mm bore covers light clamping and part-presenting duties; step up to the 16 mm bore (100.5 N push) if the load is heavier, or down to nothing smaller since 12 mm is the smallest in the family. The 20 mm window gives a 40-60 mm usable extend range via the external stop screw, but the stop is a mechanical end stop only - on air loss the piston still drifts, so it is not a mid-stroke lock. FA/FB flange and LB foot mountings bolt to the ISO 21287 face, and the fitted -S magnet accepts CMSE / DMSE switches. For new projects, order the current-production ACEJ12X60 instead and verify the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions.
