Double acting and adjustable in stroke, the ACPJ12X60-40 is a DIN-standard compact cylinder with a 12 mm bore, a 60 mm stroke and a 40 mm adjustment window. A stop screw trims the extend stroke on site to any length between 20 and 60 mm, so one unit covers several jig positions. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 56.5 N and pulls 42.4 N; at 0.7 MPa those rise to 79.2 N and 59.4 N, with a theoretical ceiling of 11.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The 60 mm stroke is longer than the 50 mm standard maximum for this bore, so it is a made-to-order item.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which matters inside tight machine frames and slide assemblies.
