About the Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ12X75-20S
The ACPJ12X75-20S is a double acting, adjustable-stroke compact cylinder with a 12 mm bore and a 75 mm stroke. A stop screw trims the extend stroke by up to 20 mm on site, giving a usable range of 55-75 mm without changing the cylinder. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 56.5 N and pulls 42.4 N; at 0.7 MPa those figures rise to 79.2 N and 59.4 N, with a theoretical maximum of 11.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The 75 mm stroke exceeds the 50 mm maximum standard stroke for a 12 mm bore, so this unit is made to order.
The hard-anodized aluminium body and S45C hard-chrome rod keep the short ISO 21287-class build rigid while saving roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body will not fit. Because the -S code is ordered, the magnet is fitted and CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be clamped straight onto the body for end-of-stroke sensing. Plan on about 34 N of real work at 0.5 MPa (roughly 0.6 of the push rating), which is a vertical lift of about 2 kg with a 2:1 margin.
