The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ12X75-40S is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø12mm bore and 75mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ12X75-40S (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
This discontinued AirTAC ACPJ12X75-40S is a double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke: a stop screw trims the 75 mm stroke by up to 40 mm, giving a usable 35-75 mm range. The 12 mm bore delivers 56.5 N push and 42.4 N pull at 0.5 MPa, rising to 79.2 N at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical peak of 11.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. Because the 75 mm stroke exceeds the 50 mm standard limit for bore 12, it is a made-to-order build. The short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into cramped jigs and guarding.
The -S code on this model means the magnet is fitted, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be mounted for end-of-stroke sensing. A fixed TPU bumper sits at both ends, and the hard-anodized aluminium body carries an S45C hard-chrome rod with a female M3x0.5 thread. For planning, treat about 34 N (roughly 0.6 of the push force) as the realistic working output at 0.5 MPa, which lifts around 3 kg vertically - halve that for a 2:1 margin on a real part.
