The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ12X80-10B is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø12mm bore and 80mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ12X80-10B (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
This double acting compact cylinder from AirTAC's discontinued ACPJ line pairs a 12 mm bore with an 80 mm stroke and a 10 mm adjustment window. A stop screw trims the extend stroke anywhere in the 70-80 mm range on site, and a fixed TPU bumper decelerates the piston at both ends. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 56.5 N and pulls 42.4 N, rising to 79.2 N push at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical ceiling of 11.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The 80 mm stroke exceeds the 50 mm maximum standard stroke for bore 12, so it is a made-to-order build.
The hard-anodized aluminium body with an S45C hard-chrome rod saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it slots into slim fixtures and guarded assemblies. As a rule of thumb, plan on roughly 34 N of real work at 0.5 MPa, which lifts about 2.9 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. Note the adjuster is a mechanical end stop only: on air loss the piston still drifts, so it never holds a load. This model is discontinued; the current-production replacement is the ACEJ12X80, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.

The short body, about 50% shorter in mounting length than an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, fits behind a guarding panel; add the -S magnet code to the ACEJ12X80 if end-of-travel signals via CMSE / DMSE switches are needed.
With about 2.9 kg of vertical lift capacity at a 2:1 margin, the 12 mm bore ejects lightweight plastic caps or springs off a nest at speeds up to 500 mm/s.
At 12 mm bore this is the smallest ACPJ size: 56.5 N push and 42.4 N pull at 0.5 MPa. If your part or clamp load exceeds about 34 N of usable force, step up to the 16 mm bore (100.5 N push at 0.5 MPa) or the 20 mm bore (157.1 N push). If 80 mm of travel is more than the job needs, a shorter standard stroke within the 50 mm bore-12 limit is a stock-friendlier choice. The B code gives a male 6 mm rod thread and the PT port thread is M5x0.8. FA/FB flange and LB foot mountings bolt to the same face family, and the optional -S magnet enables CMSE / DMSE switches if you need position signals. This unit is discontinued, so order the ACEJ12X80 as the drop-in successor and verify ISO 21287 mounting dimensions.

The -10 code sets a 10 mm window: an external stop screw shortens the 80 mm extend stroke to any point between 70 and 80 mm. It cannot lengthen the stroke past 80 mm, and it is a mechanical stop, not a load-holding brake, so the rod still drifts if air is lost. Position sensing requires the optional -S magnet code, which allows CMSE / DMSE switches; this particular model has no magnet fitted, so no sensor can be mounted on it as built.
