The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ12X90-100SB is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø12mm bore and 90mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ12X90-100SB (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
This AirTAC model is a double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke: a stop screw trims the 90 mm stroke on site within the ordered 100 mm window, so the usable range runs from 0 to 90 mm. At 0.5 MPa the 12 mm bore delivers 56.5 N push and 42.4 N pull, rising to 79.2 N push at 0.7 MPa. The 90 mm stroke exceeds the 50 mm standard limit for this bore, so it is a made-to-order build. Note this model is discontinued; the current-production replacement is ACEJ12X90.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which suits cramped jigs and guarding where a full-length body will not fit. The -S code on this unit carries the magnet, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be mounted for end-of-stroke sensing. A fixed TPU bumper sits at both ends, and the male rod thread (B code) takes external knuckles directly.
