About the Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ12X90-40B
The ACPJ12X90-40B is a double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke: a stop screw trims the 90 mm stroke by up to 40 mm, giving a usable range of 50-90 mm on site. Air works on both sides of the piston, and a fixed TPU bumper sits at each end. At 0.5 MPa this 12 mm bore delivers 56.5 N of push and 42.4 N of pull, which works out to roughly 34 N of practical working force - enough to lift about 2.9 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. Note that the 90 mm stroke exceeds the 50 mm maximum standard stroke for bore 12, so this unit is made to order.
The hard-anodized aluminium body with an S45C hard-chrome rod keeps the short ISO 21287-class footprint about 50% shorter in mounting length than an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and guarding.
