The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ16X100-20S is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø16mm bore and 100mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ16X100-20S (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
Double acting and adjustable, the AirTAC ACPJ16X100-20S pushes 100.5 N (pull 75.4 N) at 0.5 MPa from a 16 mm bore, with a stop screw that trims the 100 mm extend stroke by up to 20 mm for an 80-100 mm working range. The 100 mm stroke exceeds the 75 mm maximum standard stroke for bore 16, so it is a made-to-order build. Its hard-anodized aluminium body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it slots into shallow jigs and guarding where a full-length body will not fit.
The -S code means the magnet is fitted, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be clamped on for end-of-stroke signals. A fixed TPU bumper sits at both ends, the S45C hard-chrome rod carries a female M4x0.7 thread, and ports are M5x0.8. For sizing, treat roughly 60 N as the practical push budget at 0.5 MPa, which lifts about 6 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. Note this model is discontinued: the current-production drop-in is the ACEJ16X100, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.

FA/FB flange and LB foot mountings bolt to the ISO 21287 face. This unit is discontinued and the ACEJ16X100 is the current replacement in the same bore, stroke and force class.

The -S magnet on this model carries over as an option on the ACEJ, enabling CMSE / DMSE switches, and FA/FB flange or LB foot mountings bolt straight to the face.
