The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ16X110-100 is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø16mm bore and 110mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ16X110-100 (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
The ACPJ16X110-100 is a double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke: an external stop screw trims the 110 mm stroke by up to 100 mm, giving a usable range of 10-110 mm on site. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 100.5 N and pulls 75.4 N, rising to 140.7 N at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical maximum of 20.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. A fixed TPU bumper sits at both ends, and the 8 mm S45C hard-chrome rod carries a female M4x0.7 thread.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body cannot. Plan on roughly 60 N (about 6 kg) of real work at 0.5 MPa rather than the full rating, which equals lifting about 5 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. Note that the 110 mm stroke exceeds the 75 mm standard maximum for bore 16, so this is a made-to-order build. This model is discontinued; the current-production replacement is the ACEJ16X110, and buyers should confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.

The 100 mm window lets one cylinder serve several jig depths: set the stop screw anywhere from 10 to 110 mm to match part heights on a small machining fixture, using about 60 N of usable clamp force at 0.5 MPa.

Size between bores: an ACPJ12 gives 56.5 N push at 0.5 MPa, while stepping up to an ACPJ20 reaches 157.1 N, so the 16 mm bore at 100.5 N sits mid-range for light clamping and positioning. If you need the rod held under load, remember the stop screw only limits the extend stroke - it is not a mid-stroke lock, and the piston drifts if air is lost. Mount with FA/FB flanges or LB feet on the standard face; order the -S code if you want the optional magnet for CMSE / DMSE switches, since this version has no magnet. For new projects, specify the ACEJ16X110 instead - it is the current drop-in successor in the same bore, stroke and force class.
