The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ16X110-10SB is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø16mm bore and 110mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ16X110-10SB (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
This double acting ACPJ16X110-10SB is a DIN-standard compact cylinder with a 16 mm bore and a 110 mm stroke that an external stop screw trims by up to 10 mm, giving a usable extend range of 100-110 mm. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 100.5 N and pulls 75.4 N; at 0.7 MPa those rise to 140.7 N and 105.6 N, with a theoretical ceiling of 20.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The 110 mm stroke exceeds the 75 mm maximum standard stroke for bore 16, so this unit is made to order. Note that this model is discontinued: the current-production drop-in is the ACEJ16X110, and buyers should confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight fixtures, guarding and gantries. Because the -S magnet is fitted on this version, CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be clamped straight onto the hard-anodized aluminium body. The rod carries a male thread (B code) and the S45C hard-chrome rod runs at 30-500 mm/s between fixed TPU bumpers. As a rule of thumb, plan on about 60 N of real work at 0.5 MPa - roughly 6 kg of vertical lift with a 2:1 margin - rather than the full 100.5 N rating.

Replacement mapping (swap P for E): ACP→ACE, ASP→ASE, ATP→ATE, ACPD→ACED, ACPJ→ACEJ. ACP-family: ACP (double acting), ASP / ATP (single acting push / pull), ACPD (double rod), ACPJ (adjustable stroke).
The 100.5 N push at 0.5 MPa is enough to kick stamped terminals or plastic caps off a nest, and the 10 mm trim lets the operator dial the eject travel to 100-110 mm without re-plumbing.
With the -S magnet fitted, a DMSE switch confirms the rod is fully home on a 110 mm gate stroke, and the compact body fits inside guarding that a full-length profile cylinder cannot.
Lifts about 6 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin at 0.5 MPa, so it slides sample trays between stations at 30-500 mm/s inside a tight instrument chassis.
Size both ways before committing: the 12 mm bore gives 56.5 N push at 0.5 MPa if your load is lighter, while the 20 mm bore delivers 157.1 N if you need more force. The stop screw only shortens the extend stroke within the 10 mm window and acts as a mechanical end stop - on air loss the piston still drifts, so add a separate valve or lock if you must hold position. FA/FB flanges and LB feet bolt to the ISO 21287 face. Since this model is discontinued, order the ACEJ16X110 as the current replacement and verify mounting dimensions against the DIN-standard footprint first.
