The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ16X110-30B is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø16mm bore and 110mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ16X110-30B (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
This AirTAC ACPJ16X110-30B is a double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke: a stop screw trims the 110 mm stroke by up to 30 mm, giving a usable range of 80-110 mm on site. Air pushes the rod out and pulls it back, so no spring is involved. The 16 mm bore delivers 100.5 N push and 75.4 N pull at 0.5 MPa, rising to 140.7 N push at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical peak of 20.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The 110 mm stroke exceeds the 75 mm standard maximum for bore 16, so it is a made-to-order build.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it slots into narrow jigs and sliding doors where a full-length body cannot. As a rule of thumb, plan on roughly 60 N of usable work at 0.5 MPa, which lifts about 6 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. Note this unit is discontinued: the current-production drop-in is the ACEJ16X110, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.

The male rod thread (B code) suits knuckle and tooling plates that bolt directly to the rod, and FA flange or LB foot mounts fix the body. The adjuster is a mechanical end stop only - it shortens the extend stroke and never holds a load if air is lost. This model is discontinued; order the ACEJ16X110 as the current replacement.
Replacement checklist
At 0.5 MPa it pushes 100.5 N and pulls 75.4 N; at 0.7 MPa it pushes 140.7 N and pulls 105.6 N; theoretical maximum is 20.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The -30 code gives a 30 mm adjustment window, so the 110 mm extend stroke can be trimmed to any length from 80 to 110 mm. Operating pressure is 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi), speed 30-500 mm/s, with a fixed TPU bumper at both ends. The 110 mm stroke is a made-to-order length because the bore 16 standard maximum is 75 mm.
Switches need the optional -S magnet, which this model does not carry, so no CMSE or DMSE sensor can be mounted on this exact unit - order an -S variant if sensing is required. The ACPJ family is discontinued; the current-production replacement is the ACEJ16X110 (P swapped for E), a drop-in in the same bore, stroke and force class. Because the ACP is DIN-standard, confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions of the ACEJ before swapping it into an existing fixture.
