The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ16X110-30S is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø16mm bore and 110mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ16X110-30S (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
This AirTAC cylinder is double acting, with air powering both the extend and retract strokes, and it carries a 30 mm adjustment window: an external stop screw trims the 110 mm extend stroke down to as short as 80 mm on site. The 16 mm bore delivers 100.5 N push and 75.4 N pull at 0.5 MPa, rising to 140.7 N push at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical peak of 20.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The 110 mm stroke exceeds the 75 mm standard limit for this bore, so it is a made-to-order build. Note: this model is discontinued; the current-production replacement is ACEJ16X110, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.
The short ISO 21287-class body cuts roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it suits cramped jig plates and guarding frames. Because the S code is fitted, the built-in magnet works with CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches for end-of-stroke sensing. A practical sizing rule: at 0.5 MPa plan on about 60 N of real work, which lifts roughly 5 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. FA/FB flanges and LB feet bolt straight to the standard face.
