The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ16X110-40SB is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø16mm bore and 110mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ16X110-40SB (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
The ACPJ16X110-40SB is a double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke: a stop screw trims the 110 mm stroke by up to 40 mm, giving a usable range of 70-110 mm on site. The 16 mm bore delivers 100.5 N push and 75.4 N pull at 0.5 MPa (140.7 N / 105.6 N at 0.7 MPa, 20.5 kgf theoretical max at 1.0 MPa). The 110 mm stroke exceeds the 75 mm standard maximum for bore 16, so this unit is made to order. This model is discontinued; the current-production replacement is the ACEJ16X110, a drop-in successor in the same bore, stroke and force class.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight fixtures where a full-length body cannot. Because it is double acting, air drives the rod in both directions, and a fixed TPU bumper decelerates the piston at each end. In practice the 100.5 N push supports about 60 N of real work at 0.5 MPa, and with a 2:1 margin it lifts roughly 5 kg vertically - enough for small clamping plates or light part transfer. The -S code on this model means the magnet is fitted, so CMSE / DMSE reed or solid-state switches can be mounted for end-of-stroke sensing.

The stop screw shortens the extend stroke only - it is a mechanical end stop, not a mid-stroke lock, so the piston still drifts if air is lost.
