The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ16X120-75S is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø16mm bore and 120mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ16X120-75S (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
The ACPJ16X120-75S is a discontinued double acting adjustable-stroke compact cylinder in the DIN-standard ACPJ family. Air extends and retracts the 8 mm rod, and a stop screw trims the extend stroke anywhere inside the 75 mm window, giving a usable range of 45-120 mm. At 0.5 MPa the 16 mm bore delivers 100.5 N push and 75.4 N pull, rising to 140.7 N push at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical ceiling of 20.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The 120 mm stroke exceeds the 75 mm standard limit for this bore, so it is a made-to-order build.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body will not reach. Because the -S magnet is fitted on this model, CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be clamped directly on the body for end-of-stroke signalling. As a rule of thumb, plan on roughly 60 N of usable push at 0.5 MPa, which lifts about 5 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. This model is discontinued: the current-production replacement is the ACEJ16X120, and buyers should confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping, since the ACPJ follows the older DIN layout.
