The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ16X125-50SB is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø16mm bore and 125mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ16X125-50SB (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
The ACPJ16X125-50SB is a double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke: the -50 stop screw trims the 125 mm stroke down to as short as 75 mm on site. This 16 mm bore unit is discontinued; the current-production drop-in is the ACEJ16X125 in the same bore, stroke and force class. The 125 mm stroke exceeds the 75 mm maximum standard stroke for bore 16, so it is a made-to-order build.
At 0.5 MPa it pushes 100.5 N and pulls 75.4 N; at 0.7 MPa those rise to 140.7 N and 105.6 N, with a theoretical 20.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, and the male rod thread (B code) plus the fitted -S magnet for CMSE / DMSE switches make it easy to drop into sensor-equipped fixtures. Plan on about 60 N of real work at 0.5 MPa, which lifts roughly 5 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. Fixed TPU bumpers sit at both ends, speed runs 30-500 mm/s, and pressure spans 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi).

The adjuster is a mechanical end stop for the extend stroke only, not a mid-stroke lock, so the piston can drift if air is lost; do not use it to hold a load. Mounting options include FA/FB flange and LB foot on the ISO 21287 face, and the male rod thread suits I/Y knuckles directly. Before ordering, confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions and switch to the ACEJ16X125, the current replacement for this discontinued model.
