AirTAC has phased out the MAL series. The drop-in replacement is ACEJ16X15-10B — same bore, stroke, output force, port and mounting, so it fits the same application. The ACE replacement is a current-production ISO 21287 compact cylinder in the same bore, stroke and force class, with a matching short body and the same mounting-accessory family, so it fits the same envelope. The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ16X15-10B is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø16mm bore and 15mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ16X15-10B (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
Double acting and adjustable, the ACPJ16X15-10B is a discontinued DIN-standard compact cylinder with a 16 mm bore and 15 mm stroke. An external stop screw trims the extend stroke anywhere within the 10 mm window, giving a usable range of 5-15 mm on site. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 100.5 N and pulls 75.4 N; at 0.7 MPa those figures rise to 140.7 N and 105.6 N. The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight fixtures and guarding.
Plan on roughly 60 N of real work at 0.5 MPa (about 0.6 of the rated push), which vertically lifts around 6 kg with a 2:1 margin. The hard-anodized aluminium body carries an S45C hard-chrome rod, fixed TPU bumpers sit at both ends, and the B code gives a male rod thread on the 8 mm rod. This model is discontinued: the current-production drop-in is ACEJ16X15 in the same bore, stroke and force class - confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.

FA/FB flange and LB foot mountings bolt to the standard face, and if you need position sensing, order the -S version with the optional magnet for CMSE / DMSE switches; this non-S unit has no magnet. For new builds, specify ACEJ16X15 instead.
