This ACPJ16X150-30S is a double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke: a stop screw trims the 150 mm stroke down by up to 30 mm, giving a usable range of 120-150 mm. The 16 mm bore delivers 100.5 N push and 75.4 N pull at 0.5 MPa, rising to 140.7 N at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical ceiling of 20.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. Its 150 mm stroke exceeds the 75 mm standard limit for bore 16, so it is a made-to-order build. Note this model is discontinued; the current-production drop-in is the ACEJ16X150, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.
The short ISO 21287 body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it slots into slim gantries and guarded cells where a full-length body cannot. Because the -S magnet is fitted, CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be clamped directly to the hard-anodized aluminium barrel to report end positions. As a rule of thumb, plan on about 60 N (roughly 6 kg vertical lift) of real work at 0.5 MPa rather than the full 100.5 N rating, and remember the fixed TPU bumpers only decelerate at the ends - they never hold a load if air is lost.
