The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ16X160-10S is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø16mm bore and 160mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ16X160-10S (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
The ACPJ16X160-10S is a double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke: a stop screw trims the 160 mm stroke by up to 10 mm, giving a usable range of 150-160 mm on site. The 16 mm bore delivers 100.5 N push and 75.4 N pull at 0.5 MPa, rising to 140.7 N push at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical peak of 20.5 kgf at 1.0 MPa. This unit carries the optional -S magnet, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be mounted for end-of-stroke sensing.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight fixtures, guards and slides where a full-length body will not reach. The stop screw only shortens the extend stroke and is not a mid-stroke lock: on air loss the piston still drifts, so do not rely on it to hold a load. FA/FB flange or LB foot mounting bolts onto the standard face, and the fitted -S magnet works with CMSE / DMSE switches.
