The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ16X30-10B is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø16mm bore and 30mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ16X30-10B (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
This AirTAC ACPJ16X30-10B is a double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke: a stop screw trims the 30 mm stroke by up to 10 mm, giving a usable range of 20-30 mm on site. Air works on both sides of the 8 mm hard-chrome S45C rod, so the piston retracts under power as well as extends. At 0.5 MPa the bore 16 body delivers 100.5 N push and 75.4 N pull, rising to 140.7 N push at 0.7 MPa.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it suits tight jigs and guarded assemblies. A fixed TPU bumper sits at each end to soften end-of-travel. In practice, plan for roughly 60 N of real work at 0.5 MPa, which lifts about 5 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. Note this model is discontinued: the current-production drop-in is the ACEJ16X30, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.

Choose this model when the stroke must be trimmed on site within a 10 mm window and the rod needs a male thread (the B code); the female-thread version drops the B. FA/FB flanges and LB feet bolt straight to the ISO 21287 face. Position sensing needs the optional -S magnet code for CMSE / DMSE switches - this unit has no magnet fitted, so no sensor can be mounted. Since the ACPJ is discontinued, order the ACEJ16X30 as the current replacement and verify mounting dimensions first.

The stop is a mechanical end stop only - on air loss the piston still drifts.
