The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ16X30-20SB is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø16mm bore and 30mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ16X30-20SB (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
This double acting compact cylinder, the AirTAC ACPJ16X30-20SB, delivers 100.5 N push and 75.4 N pull at 0.5 MPa (140.7 N push at 0.7 MPa) from a 16 mm bore with a 30 mm stroke. Its hard-anodized aluminium body is about 50% shorter in mounting length than an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs, guards and gantries where a full-length body will not fit. Note that the ACPJ family is discontinued; the current-production drop-in is ACEJ16X30 in the same bore, stroke and force class.
The -20 code gives a 20 mm adjustment window: an external stop screw trims the extend stroke anywhere between 10 and 30 mm on site, so one cylinder covers several fixture positions. This model carries the optional -S magnet, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be mounted for end-of-stroke sensing, and the B code gives a male rod thread. With 100.5 N at 0.5 MPa, plan on roughly 60 N (about 6 kg of vertical lift) of real work for a dependable margin. Speed range is 30-500 mm/s and the fixed TPU bumpers at both ends simply decelerate the piston at each end of travel.

Size between bores: a 12 mm bore pushes only 56.5 N at 0.5 MPa, while a 20 mm bore reaches 157.1 N, so the 16 mm at 100.5 N sits in the middle for light clamping and indexing. The stop screw is a mechanical end stop for the extend stroke only, not a mid-stroke lock, so the piston can still drift if air is lost. FA/FB flange and LB foot mountings bolt to the ISO 21287 face, and the male rod thread suits I/Y knuckles. Before ordering, confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions and consider the ACEJ16X30 replacement, since this ACPJ is a discontinued DIN-standard design.

The ACPJ family is discontinued, so order the ACEJ16X30 as the current-production drop-in in the same bore, stroke and force class, and confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping from the DIN-standard ACP footprint.
