About the Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ16X35-10B
The ACPJ16X35-10B is a double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke: the -10 code gives a 10 mm window, so a stop screw trims the 35 mm stroke down to 25 mm on site. Air drives the rod in both directions, a fixed TPU bumper decelerates each end, and the male rod thread (B code) bolts straight to external tooling. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 100.5 N and pulls 75.4 N; at 0.7 MPa that rises to 140.7 N.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it suits tight jigs and guard-mounted fixtures. Plan on roughly 60 N (about 6 kgf) of real work at 0.5 MPa, and expect it to lift about 5 kg vertically once you keep a 2:1 margin. Note that this model is discontinued: the current-production replacement is ACEJ16X35, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping. The magnet is the optional -S code; without it no CMSE / DMSE switch can be fitted.
