The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ16X60-40B is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø16mm bore and 60mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ16X60-40B (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
A double acting compact cylinder with an on-site adjustable stroke, the ACPJ16X60-40B uses a stop screw to trim the 60 mm extend stroke anywhere within its 40 mm window, giving a usable range of 20-60 mm. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 100.5 N and pulls 75.4 N, and the short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into cramped jigs and guarding where a full-length body will not fit.
This bore 16 unit has an 8 mm rod with a male thread (the B code) and M5x0.8 ports, running on air filtered to 40 um at 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) with speeds of 30-500 mm/s. A fixed TPU bumper sits at each end. Note the stop screw is a mechanical end stop only - on air loss the piston still drifts, so it never holds a load.
