The AirTAC Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ16X60-75 is a double acting, adjustable stroke DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø16mm bore and 60mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACEJ16X60-75 (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
The ACPJ16X60-75 is a double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke: a stop screw trims the 60 mm stroke on site within the ordered 75 mm window, so the usable range is 0-60 mm. Air works on both faces of the piston, and at 0.5 MPa it delivers 100.5 N of push force and 75.4 N of pull. The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which makes it easy to fit into shallow jigs, guarding frames and slide assemblies.
Built around a hard-anodized aluminium body with an S45C hard-chrome rod and a fixed TPU bumper at each end, it runs on 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) filtered air at 30-500 mm/s. In practice, plan on roughly 60 N of usable push at 0.5 MPa (about 0.6 of the rating), which is around 6 kgf - so for vertical lifting with a 2:1 margin it handles parts up to about 3 kg. Note that this model is discontinued: the current-production replacement is the ACEJ16X60, and you should confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.

Replacement mapping (swap P for E): ACP→ACE, ASP→ASE, ATP→ATE, ACPD→ACED, ACPJ→ACEJ. ACP-family: ACP (double acting), ASP / ATP (single acting push / pull), ACPD (double rod), ACPJ (adjustable stroke).
The 100.5 N push at 0.5 MPa is enough to strip light aluminium or plastic parts off a locating mandrel, and the adjustable stroke lets a technician dial the ejector travel to the part depth without changing cylinders.
Used as a retractable stop pin on a 16-station indexing table, the 0-60 mm adjustable range sets the exact stop height, while the compact body fits inside the dial base plate.
Mounted above a carton sealer, the cylinder presses flaps flat with about 60 N of usable force at 0.5 MPa before the tape head passes, and the 60 mm stroke clears the box height.
Size the bore by load: if your fixture needs more than about 100 N of push at 0.5 MPa, step up to the 20 mm bore (157.1 N push / 117.8 N pull); if the load is light and space is very tight, the 12 mm bore gives 56.5 N push / 42.4 N pull. The stop screw only shortens the extend stroke - it is a mechanical end stop, not a mid-stroke lock, so the piston still drifts if air is lost. This unit has a female M4x0.7 rod thread and PT ports; FA/FB flange and LB foot mountings bolt to the standard face. No magnet is fitted, so position switches cannot be used - order the -S code for the optional magnet if you need CMSE / DMSE sensors. For new projects, specify the ACEJ16X60 instead.

The current-production drop-in is the ACEJ16X60 (swap the P for an E), which matches the same bore, stroke and force class; confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping since the ACP is DIN-standard. As supplied, this unit has no magnet, so no sensor can be mounted; the optional -S magnet code enables CMSE / DMSE reed or solid-state switches.
