The AirTAC Airtac ASP Single Acting Guided Compact Cylinder ASP100X20B is a single acting, push (spring return) DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø100mm bore and 20mm stroke, 1/4" air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ASE100X20B (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
A single acting push cylinder with spring return, the ASP100X20B extends its 25 mm rod with compressed air and lets the internal spring pull it back home, so one air line is all the plumbing it needs. At the big 100 mm bore this model delivers 3640.7 N of push at 0.5 MPa and 5211.5 N at 0.7 MPa, both figures already net of the spring, and it starts moving from just 0.2 MPa. The B code gives a male rod thread and the port is 1/4".
The short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is how a 3640 N clamp fits inside a tight welding fixture or press guard. In practice, plan on about 2184 N of usable work at 0.5 MPa, which is roughly 223 kg of vertical load; with a 2:1 margin it lifts about 185 kg vertically. Note this unit is discontinued: the current-production drop-in is the ASE100X20, so confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping. A fixed TPU bumper sits at both ends, and the optional -S magnet enables CMSE / DMSE switches.
